What we can respond to

We aim to respond within 1 to 3 business days for most queries; some categories have a longer or shorter target.

Fact corrections — 7 business day SLA

If you have found a factual error on the site, please tell us.

  • Subject: FACT CORRECTION: <Platform name> or FACT CORRECTION: <Article slug>
  • Include: the specific claim, where on the site it appears, the source you believe is correct, and a link or attachment supporting that source
  • Response target: verification and reply within 7 business days of receiving verifiable evidence

We take fact corrections seriously. If the correction is warranted we update the affected page, add a “corrected on [date]” note, and (for material corrections that change platform scoring) post a public note explaining what changed and why.

Reader questions

If you are a reader trying to choose between platforms, understand a specific risk, or evaluate something we have written:

  • Subject: READER: followed by a short topic (“Mintos vs PeerBerry”, “Tax in Portugal”, etc.)
  • We answer reader questions where the answer would not amount to personalised investment advice. We are not licensed financial advisers (see “What we cannot respond to” below).

Press and journalist enquiries

If you are a journalist working on a P2P-related story:

  • Subject: PRESS: followed by a one-line story description
  • We respond to most press queries within 1-2 business days
  • We can typically share: editorial framework, methodology, sourcing process for specific reviews, general sector observations
  • We do not share: confidential source identities, unpublished research

Affiliate and partnership enquiries

If you operate a P2P platform and want to discuss an affiliate relationship, or you are an aggregator / content partner / data partner:

  • Subject: AFFILIATE: or PARTNERSHIP: followed by your organisation name
  • Note: our editorial position on any platform is set independently of affiliate negotiation — see our methodology page and affiliate disclosure for what this means in practice
  • We respond to all affiliate enquiries; we do not commit to accepting all of them

Other

  • Subject: start with a topic in brackets (e.g., [PRIVACY], [LEGAL], [CAREERS])
  • We respond to legitimate enquiries; we do not respond to mass marketing, generic outreach, or content syndication offers without explicit personalisation

What we cannot respond to

We are an editorial review service. We are not licensed to do certain things, and we will tell you when an enquiry falls outside what we can help with.

  • Individual investment advice. Whether you should invest in Platform X, how much to allocate, whether P2P is right for your specific tax / age / income situation — these are questions for a licensed financial adviser in your jurisdiction. Per our terms of use, nothing on this site is investment advice.
  • Platform-specific account support. If you have a problem with a specific P2P platform — a withdrawal that has not arrived, a verification issue, a question about a specific loan — please contact the platform directly. CrowdIndex does not have access to platform user accounts and cannot resolve issues on the platform’s side.
  • Confidential investor information. We cannot accept confidential commercial information from platforms — internal financials, unannounced strategy, non-public default data — without a formal information-sharing agreement.
  • Threats or pressure. Several of the platforms we cover at the bottom of our ranking have, historically, contacted reviewers with legal threats. If your message is a threat rather than a substantive correction, we will respond once with a referral to our legal counsel and then close the thread.

A privacy note

Any personal information you share with us in an email — your name, your email address, the content of the message — is processed under our privacy policy. We use this information to respond to you and to keep records of correspondence; we do not sell it, do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent, and you can request deletion at any time.
